1992531 - Switching between tabs with the tab list feels slow and not-responsive due to the tap being ignored after the slide

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Firefox 143.1.1 (62160)
2. Open 6 tabs
3. tab the "[6]" button at the bottom-right to open the tab list
4. tap a tab, e.g. 6-th one at the bottom-right, immediately after the slide "looks like finished"
5. do the step 4 until it actually opens the tab

Actual result:
First 1-2 taps are ignored, presumably because either:

• (a) it's still in the "sliding up" state (in the screen recording, the slide takes 0.1 sec to finish the last 5% or so)
• (b) it doesn't accept a tap for a while after the slide finishes

Expected result:
The first tap opens the tab.

I've recorded the same situation both on Firefox for iOS and Safari.
I'll attach the screen recording for both.

Here's the result on Safari.
It feels faster and more responsive.
