Details

Steps to reproduce

  1. Enter a long sentence (like a long search query) into the URL bar so that the text overflows
  2. Enter additional words or characters

Expected behavior

Adding more words or characters to URL bar should behave as it did before the text started to overflow

Actual behavior

  • Additionally typed in words or characters only show up with a delay after typing was finished
  • The visible cursor jumps back to the previous position after typing was finished, but jumps back to the end when typing again, which is very confusing

Device information

  • Firefox version: 144.0b11 (and several previous version)
  • Android device model: Pixel 7a
  • Android OS version: 16

Any additional information?

The issue only occurs with the Composable Toolbar
