User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:143.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/143.0
Steps to reproduce:
Just by usa
I recently got a new MacBook and I've noticed that only while I've used Firefox, my battery life goes down extremely fast and doesn't happen when I use other browsers. I used the Firefox Profiler and configured it using power for the settings by following a Reddit thread, so if this is of any help, here is the link to it: https://share.firefox.dev/48rzvO0
The battery drains very fast on Firefox (like around one percent every 2 minutes for a fresh battery), and using Brave has produced much better battery. If you notice anything that stands out (CPU usage, etc.), please let me know how to resolve it. Thank you!
Actual results:
I've attempted to clear extensions that I don't use, disabled media.av1 in about:config, but none of these worked or changed anything
Expected results:
I hoped by changing these settings something would have happened, or at least fixed some drain but nothing has changed yet - I followed the instructions from a reddit thread:
to get to here and I've tried various other methods but none has worked yet. Thank you for any help!

Tweaking flags so this shows up in triage.

Anything the reporter can do on OS X to collect more info? I don't see anything particularly interesting in this profile.
