User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 The link "Meteorologist 1.2.6" the page loads partially and does not respond to "reload" command. I've had this problem occassionally when viewing secure pages from my bank too. With my bank, I have to quit Mozilla and reboot it and then it works fine. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to above listed URL. 2. Click on Meteorologist 1.2.6 link. 3. Page will only partially load. Actual Results: Page will only partially load. Expected Results: Load the page. The URL I'm trying to reach is http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/16142.
WorksForMe using FizzillaMach/2003032609. Thomas, do you have HTTP Pipelining enabled? Can you also reproduce this problem using a current nightly build? (Possible dup of bug 195746.)
Yes, I do have HTTP Pipelining enabled. But I've never had any issues that I can think of with versiontracker before and I didn't have any issues with Camino and it has pipelining enabled. I realize that they are two diferent browsers and the site may not see them the same way. I'll turn HTTP Pipelining off when I log onto my bank and see if it works. I'll let you know what happens. I'm not into using the nightly builds–too volatile for me. Thanks.
Thomas, for bug reporting purposes, it is necessary to test using current nightly builds.
I think I've found the issue with not being able to access my bank account. It's HTTP Pipelining. When I disable it, I don't seem to have any problems. I've tried to access it on multiple occasions since 3/27 and in every instance when HTTP Pipelining was active I couldn't get the pages to load. When it was off, no problem. Now I just turn it off before accessing the bank and any other pages that won't load (maybe a couple). Regarding the downloading of nightly builds, I'm sorry but I just don't have the time to do this. I tried doing it before but when I did and it crashed, it took too much time to set everything up again (of course I back up my info.). All in all though, I strongly feel that this is the best browser I've used yet. Really a big step forward and you folks are to be commended. Thanks.
Resolving dup per comment 4. Thomas, if you can still reproduce this with a current nightly build, please file a new bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 195746 ***
