199509 - mozilla crashes when I collapse some folders

I have this tree in Mozilla Mail 1.3 which is expanded :

+ Local Folders
 - Inbox
 + Sent  
  + Work
   - Airbus
   - FPDI
  - Friends
 - Trash
[...]
I first click on Work to collapse the tree (to hide Airbus + FPDI). It's OK.
Then, I click on Sent to collapse one more time this tree, but mozilla enters in
an endless loop. I have to kill it to exit.
I did not encounter any problem while expanding these folders.

Reporter: close your mozilla ; go to your profile folder and try to move
xul.mfasl somewhere else.

Launch again mozilla, and try your steps again.

If it doesn't hang -> this bug will be a duplicate (something like the 200th) of
bug 169777.

I've tried what you proposed Frederic, but it did not change anything.
If I move the original XUL.mfasl file, a new one is created (even after this
commands : touch XUL.mfasl; chmod 444 XUL.mfasl). The behaviour of mozilla
remains the same.

Note : I don't know if it's important, but the new XUL.mfasl is smaller (1MB
against 3.2MB).
