A user in our national forum has reported that since the beginning of October it's impossible to log in to the Yahoo webmail (or AOL webmail, which uses Yahoo) using SeaMonkey - other browsers work fine. Here are the steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to https://mail.yahoo.com/
  2. Enter a valid username (you can use "marcotrenta", or your own Yahoo account if you have one)
  3. Enter a random password (or a real one, if you have a Yahoo account)

Expected result:

You receive an error message stating that it's impossible to log in (or you log in correctly if you have an account there)

What happens instead:

After clicking on Next once you enter the password, the page loads indefinitely, and it indefinitely waits for a response from geo.yahoo.com

This behaviour has been verified by three different people, also on clean Seamonkey installs/new profiles.

Confirming the same behavior. Fresh install of Seamonkey after a long hiatus. It eventually gets into a state where the entire browser begins to run poorly and just needs forcibly closed.
