Build 2003032611 on Win2000. On expanding the horizontal splitter in the mailwindow the messagepane is no longer repainted properly. I also see this in Venkman with the Interactive Session pane but not anywhere else. The expanded pane gets repainted again on resizing the splitter manually.
Bug verified on Moz 2003032808/WXP SP1
I can get this kind of behavior in 1.4 alpha release version (on WinXP) simply by expanding a news server and clicking on a newsgroup (see attached screenshot).
Still broken in 2003041508. cc-ing some people who might be able to fix this or know others who can. I believe this one really needs to be fixed for 1.4.

Acoording to #c1 en #c2 from dupe 199713 it indeed does not occur on Linux. It has been confirmed with Win2k en WinXP. Changing OS.

This is a pretty ugly usability regression. We should repair this for 1.4. (modified steps from dupe:) Steps to reproduce problem: 1. Open Mail 2. Collapse and reveal the message pane Steps to reproduce problem: 1. Inspect something using DOM inspector 2. Collapse and reveal the right panel Actual results: <browser> tag does not repaint, although other tags do Expected result: Everything repaints
