Preconditions

  • browser.backup.archive.enabled - true
  • browser.backup.restore.enabled - true

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to about:preferences and turn on backup
  2. Enable the encryption
  3. Add a password and confirm it then click Save
  4. Click the "Change password" button
  5. Enter a password and confirm it and click Save

Expected result

  • No visible changes are seen in about:preference page

Actual result

  • The Encryption checkbox is unchecked for 1-2 seconds and then it reverts to its state (check)

Regression range

  • Not sure if this is a regression, I can look for one if needed be.

This is only a visual bug, the data respects the encryption setting.

Mass change of status-firefox145 from disabled to affected to all my logged bugs since we are actively testing on Firefox 145 at this time.

I'll try taking a look at this.
