Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:144.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/144.0

Steps to reproduce:

Start Firefox in KDE Wayland and with native Wayland (not XWayland).
Open a bookmark folder in the bookmark bar.
Try to drag and move a bookmark in the bookmark folder.

Actual results:

It is occasionally not possible do drag and move a bookmark inside a bookmark bar folder. This is an inconsistent behaviour, cause sometimes I can't drag a bookmark in one folder, but can in another. And I never have this problem in the root layer of the bookmark bar, so dragging parent folders or bookmarks there is always possible.

A workaround is to restart Firefox, but this doesn't always work or is inconsistent, too.

Expected results:

The bookmark can be dragged and moved around inside the bookmark bar folder.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Bookmarks & History' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Component: Untriaged → Bookmarks & History

This looks more related to graphics / gtk than bookmarks themselves so moving product

Component: Bookmarks & History → Widget: Gtk

Which KDE version do you run?
Thanks.

Flags: needinfo?(exzentrik)

I currently use Manjaro Stable with KDE Plasma 6.3.6 and Kernel 6.17.1.

Seems to be fixed here since Manjaro Stable with KDE Plasma 6.5.3 and Firefox V146.0. Thank you very much!
