User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030328 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030328 The rating stars on netflix.com's pages are not displayed (they appear as empty inner bevels, and opening the image properties for them says their size is unknown). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Visit site in mozilla Actual Results: Stars were not displayed Expected Results: Displayed the stars Stars appear in IE 6.0.
wfm using Mozilla built on Linux (CVS 20030328)
Make sure you don't have your Image Acceptance Policy set to "Accept All Images" Edit->Preferences->Privacy & Security->Images If that isn't it, what happens when you clear cache? Edit->Preferences->Advanced->Cache
#4: Cleared my cache, and it is already set to accept all images. Still no star images.
I see the stars, using Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030313 on Linux Mandrake 9.1. It appears that the netflix page is using some Javascript to change the stars when you mouseover them. Do you have Javascript enabled? When I disable Javascript, I get no stars.
No, it isn't disabling javascript. When I do that I don't see the outline or anything (like the screen shot indicates). Can you create a "new user" and see if that user has the same problem on the same machine? I am wondering if there is some weird pref setting that might be messing you up, a new user will have a fresh profile.
I created a new user profile and the stars now show.
ahhhhh Kevin, is the following option NOT selected for you??? Edit->Preferences->Advanced->Scripts & Plugins->Allow scripts to _Change images If I uncheck this, then the stars don't appear. Please retry, if this works for you, we will close this as 'invalid'. Thanks
None of the options to allow scripts to change things were selected. That is strange; before I reinstalled mozilla about a week ago they *were* selected. Nonetheless, that fixes it. Thanks, jim, the stars are there now. :)
