Steps to reproduce:

1. Please carefully peruse https://redd.it/1h5u9i8. I’ve tried these 6 troubleshooting steps, but the issue persists:

1.1. Cleared cookies and cache
1.2. Checked privacy settings (third-party cookies are enabled)
1.3. Tried using a new Firefox profile
1.4. Verified that my system's time and date are correct
1.5. Disabled any privacy or ad-blocking extensions
1.6. Ensured I’m not in Private Browsing mode

Actual results:

2. I’ve been having an annoying issue with Firefox that keeps logging me out of websites, every time I close and reopen the browser. It doesn't matter which sites I visit – I’m logged out on almost all of them, and I have to log in again every single time.

Expected results:

3. Firefox should have kept me logged in everywhere.

Thanks for reporting this bug and sorry for this issue.

I am asking this as you havent mentioned this explicitly in the above steps. Have you unchecked the checkbox -- "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed"?

Since you can reproduce the issue consistently, could you please check if the cookies for the sites are still stored in the system before and after restarts by clicking the Manage Data button under about:preferences#privacy -> Cookies and Site Data.

Could you please capture http logs for the issue?
Kindly select Cookies preset and log the output to a file and share.
If you’re concerned about privacy and prefer not to share the logs through the tool, you can email them directly to [e-mail].

I'm also experiencing this issue with Firefox Developer's Edition PC 147.0b3 (but not the main Firefox). I've meticulously checked security settings to make sure cookies are not being cleared. It seems like I can close Firefox for a day or so and reopen and I'm still logged in, but if it's a bit longer I will be logged out of everything. Very strange.
