Steps to reproduce
- Enable Dark mode.
- Trigger a pop-up, e.g., open a link in a new tab.
Expected behavior
The pop-up text color is dark if the background is light, and vice versa.
Actual behavior
The pop-up text color is light on the light background.
Device information
- Firefox version: 144.0.2 (release)
- Android device model: Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro
- Android OS version: 10 (MIUI Global 12.5.1)
Any additional information?
Dark mode is something I can access via Settings -> Display -> Color scheme (Light mode / Dark mode). I suspect the issue may be related to the way MIUI (Xiaomi's Android fork) handles it.

I've been able to identify the cause: it was the Adjust text and background automatically setting, on by default. When I turned it off, I got an app list where I could toggle it for each of the apps individually. The weird thing was that it was off only for some of the apps by default (and not for Firefox Release or Nightly).
