In the Firefox support, a significant performance degradation for the header animation on the following website was reported and confirmed by multiple users on macOS and Windows: https://www.lis-stiftung.de/

mozregression gave me the following regression range:
https://hg-edge.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/pushloghtml?fromchange=2eb7051ff4ed8841f0cfa6301d51fbaf098cdc96&tochange=1ac69623ae79a621c0035377f0841b1ba83070c1

Unfortunately, the regression is too old to bisect further.

Very similar to bug 1998806 but different regression range.

Seems like the same underlying bug though: if I revert bug 1716695 in a local build then the problem goes away.
