The following pre-defined views in Mail are not translated:
* People I know
* Recent Mail
* Last 5 Days
* Not Junk
* Has Attachments

As a workaround the user can change them himself, but I suggest that these views
are translated to German.

I tried it again with the following build Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT
5.1; de-AT; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030401 and a new profile. Same result. The views
still have English names.

OK, this really states that this is a generic Mailnews bug, and no bug in my
Localization component :)

in this bug, please transfer it.

Taking this back to German/Austria.

The file lives in the profile, as pointed out (in German) in bug 218617. What
needs to be done is including a defaults/messenger/<regionName>/mailViews.dat as
translated file in the XPI and binary builds.

I already fixed this in my local copy of the XPI for Mozilla 1.5, I'll mark it
fixed as soon as that gets released.
