User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 When typing in the URL bar, if I switch to another window and back, and the entire selection is highlighted. This is rather annoying if I'm copying some text from a window which I cannot cut-and-paste from (a PDF, or a scanned image from a newspaper with job postings that my mom sent me, for this specific example). I request that the URL *not* be highlighted after Alt+Tabbing to another window and back. (Btw I just tested it and Internet Explorer works the same way Mozilla currently does, so it makes sense that the behavior is the way it is currently. However, if not possible to change the default to not do this, at least perhaps we can create a preference.) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click in URL bar and start typing. 2. Switch to other window using Alt+Tab. 3. Switch back using Alt+Tab to find the entire selection in the URL bar highlighted. Actual Results: The entire selection in the URL bar was highlighted. Expected Results: It should have left the window exactly as it was, i.e. with any highlight left the way it was, and with the cursor in the same position that it was.
