I believe this is considered a security risk and so not allowed. If so, a message would be nice. open in window or tab both do nothing too. Save link targer works - allows you to save the file. This one's interesting if it is considered a security risk - "bookmark this link" saves a bookmark and selecting it opens the file. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.send yourself a message with a file: link 2.click the link 3.try bookmark this link and opening bookmark too Expected Results: Opened file or given a message. If it is a security risk, I think it would be nice to be warned but still given the option of opening anyway. I want to send a work colleague a link to a network mapped file which we both have access to.
