Open testcase
Generate the "persistent microtasks" i.e. the first input. Use any of the 5 method in the dropsown, it does not matter.
Once they are generated, manually minimize the memory.

AR: While manually minimizing memory, some of the GC Marking areas are mainthread only. There is no activity on parallel threads
ER: Maybe better parallelism?

Jonco's initial thought is: We don't move work between threads when the marking stack size is very small as this can end up the overhead can quickly outweigh the improvement. That looks like what's happening here. This may not be high priority to fix.
