User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:145.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/145.0

Steps to reproduce:

When using i3 windows manager, the Firefox windows shrinks size when losing focus and recover its full size again with the focus. It leaves a small border between the firefox window and the i3 WM window (see attached screenshot)

Using mozregression, it is actually a regression happening in 2022 somewhere between b8732a1c1fa931fc3cc5369e31a64db459f60c83 and 0671f5ff7249d3d7c458a29a4099a093c01f0ac1

Component: Untriaged → Widget: Gtk
OS: Unspecified → Linux
Product: Firefox → Core
Hardware: Unspecified → Desktop
Priority: -- → P3
Summary: Firefox window shrinks size when losing focus → [i3] Firefox window shrinks size when losing focus

Could you run firefox with env variable MOZ_LOG="Widget:5"?
It will generate some log about window size.

Severity: -- → S3

I tried to compile old versions of Firefox to find the specific regression commit between the nightly builds of 2022-04-07 and of 2022-04-08, but it seems the compile chain is too old.
I can compile the current version, but the old version fail because of missing artifacts, even if I used the configure option without artifacts. It seems there is no simple way to reproduce the compile chains of these old version, is it ?
