Searchfox currently displays no coverage information at all when displaying historical file version.
For instance: https://coverage.moz.tools/#view=file&revision=caf560206ff256723e0cdc610e5244783eef1304&path=chrome%2FnsChromeRegistryChrome.cpp vs https://searchfox.org/firefox-main/rev/3728e0c87fc4fa87ddf0c7a8183f2dd2329be96a/chrome/nsChromeRegistryChrome.cpp (this is the same commit, but with the hg hash for coverage.moz.tools and the git hash for searchfox.

For now this only shows how one can turn a code-coverage-report.json into a Git commit and only the firefox-main HEAD revision actually has coverage data.

Technically this is done, the /rev endpoint will display code coverage data when available. The remaining issue now is actually making historical coverage data available. This is now tracked in bug 2013948.
