Steps to reproduce:
First letters of websites are all over the app rather than thumbnails or favicons. I think favicons should replace this in places like history, where items are listed, and in places like tabs or bookmarks on the homescreen, it should be a preview/thumbnail of the tab.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox for Android::Bookmarks' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

I see a mix - so maybe the problem is that this device doesn't have the favicon stored yet - ie, maybe a dupe of bug 428378?
