2003212 - Want ability to Hide Events/Tasks based on Categories

Steps to reproduce:

Todo.ics example:

• Created a bunch of Tasks and added Category:Ideas to them
• Created a bunch of Tasks and added Category:Issues to them
• Tried to find how to hide category 'Category:Ideas' to only display 'Category:Issues'

public_holiday.ics example:

• Imported an ICS file with public holidays labeled CATEGORY:PUBLIC:, and other anniversary's labeled CATEGORY:OPTIONAL
• Tried to find how to hide category 'Category:OPTIONAL' to only display public holidays

Actual results:

I did not find any method to hide categories.

Expected results:

I would be useful to be able to hide categories.

• For the Todo.ics calendar file example: It would be useful to scale
• For the public_holiday.ics calendar file example
  In my case I have no use of CATEGORY:OPTIONAL because these days are not Swedish legal basis for public holidays.[1]
