User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20030306 Camino/0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20030306 Camino/0.7 Select a menu bar item. Leave it open until the loading web page sends some kind of drop down alert, a Cookie alert for example. The menu stays open, and unavigable (if that's a word) until the alert drop down has been cleared. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have cookies set to ask each time. 2. Start loading a page that will send a cookie. 3. Open a menu bar item, Bookmarks for example. 4. When Camino ask you what you want to do with the cookie, the menu bar drop down will stay down until you click yes or no in the cookie drop down. Actual Results: You have a dead menu bar drop, that blocks the alert that has dropped down from the title bar, until you can click in the alert. Expected Results: The menu bar drop should have disapeared, or the alert should wait until the menu item is no longer selected.
this testcase pops up an alert shortly after page load. Load the page, then view the Camino menu (cause its out of the way of the alert) to reproduce.
Confirming and switching component.

In private e-mail Mike says that the steps are out of order. The intended order is to load the page and then jump up to any menu item before the alert has a chance to drop.

Still an issue in 20040319 NB.
Confirming bug as of latest nightly (20040715) and checking status. Also, if Alt-Tabbing between Camino and another app while the menu is frozen, where the menu should be is white, dead space (same bug?).
Adding this to our interface lock tracker.
