User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:145.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/145.0
Steps to reproduce:
Device environment:
Asus Zenbook Flip UP3404VA
OS: KDE Neon (Linux, Ubuntu 24.04 based) 6.5.2
Kernel Version: 6.8.0-88-generic (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
My laptop has a 2880x1800 screen, and is also plugged into a monitor with a 1920x1080 screen positioned on the right (as seen in the screen recording)
When Firefox is open on my laptop screen, often when opening the downloads menu, or the browser menu (three lines), these menus open entirely or partially on the 2nd monitor, making them harder or impossible to interact with.
This doesn't always happen, it seems to be triggered after moving a Firefox window between the monitor. I can workaround it by restoring down the window which seems to reset the locations. I haven't experienced this problem on any other browsers or apps, although I don't typically use them as much (or move between monitors as much) so that might just be coincidence.
Actual results:
Menus can't be easily used, or can't be used at all
Expected results:
Menus should open in the correct place, touch targets should match up with the actual position

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Please try latest nightly:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_debug_Firefox_problems#Testing_Mozilla_Nightly_binaries
If you see it, can you please run on terminal with MOZ_LOG="Widget:5,WidgetPopup:5" env variables, reproduce it and attach the log here?
Thanks.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to this. I was away for awhile and wasn't using the external monitor. At the moment I'm unable to reproduce this, using the latest stable release (147.0.2). I'll keep trying for the new few days/weeks to see if it happens again, as it's was only happening some of the time before, and report back here.

I think it's fixed by KDE update as it looks like OS/desktop bug instead of Firefox one.

I've still not experienced this in the past 10 days, despite using the second monitor quite a lot a lot and frequently moving Firefox windows between my displays. I'm going to mark this as resolved now, hopefully it won't happen again.
