Steps to reproduce:

I got notice that Thunderbird 145 and newer now i supporting Microsoft Exchange (mail only). I have my own domain and a Microsoft 365 Business Basic licens for 2 users. The Exchange accounts for these users are configured on a subdomain because mail of other users are handled by another mail provider on the main domain. When I add one of the Exchange accounts i Thunderbird it finds the mail configuration of the mail provider on the main domain. The subdomain has its own DNS settings for the MX record pointing to Exchange but Thunderbird seems not to recognise this.

Actual results:

Thunderbird does not recognize the mail settings for a subdomain. Instead it takes the mail settings from the main domain.

Expected results:

Thunderbird should take subdomains into account and read the MX record for the subdomain to detect the type of mail account.

I would also expect that I choose "Exchange" in the manual configuration, but that option is not present in the Account Hub.
