Details
When you enter a site with frames, and then view a subpage, still within the
same frameset, and then click back, you will return to the page _before_ the
frameset instead of the last page you viewed within the frameset.

This is a history issue not strictly a frameset issue. Troy, please reassign to
whoever is appropriate.

per leger, assigning QA contacts to all open bugs without QA contacts according
to list at http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/describecomponents.cgi?product=Browser
Component: Viewer App → Networking Library
QA Contact: 3853 → 4082
Hardware: PC → All
History for frames is also broken in apprunner, cross platform - eta on fix here
as it limits testing on frames pages

Moving non-crashing layout and webshell component bugs to M8...
I already have enough blockers and crashers for M6. If I fix them in time for
M6, I'll move some of these bugs back to the M6 milestone.
I'm keeping the M7 milestone for fixing XML bugs.

Adding a URL to help in verifying this bug.

Oops, this is broken now. Try going to
http://java.sun.com/products/jdk/1.2/docs/api/index.html, then using a wheel mouse,
select scroll the upper left frame to java.util, and click it. Then in the
bottom left frame, scroll down to ArrayList and click it. Then
in the main frame, scroll down to the first method (Add), and click it. Press
back. The bottom left frame gets changed, instead
of the main frame.
This also works with less scrolling: click java.applet in top left frame, then
Applet in bottom left, then java.lang.object in main.
Click the back button. Again, the bottom left frame gets changed.
Oh, and this is on build ID: 2000032308 on Windows NT 4.0 sp 4 or 5 (sorry,
don't know how to tell without rebooting :)
Andrew.

I don't know if I put this bug in the right place. I put it here based on the
summary, instead of the description. Should I open
a new bug?

Please open a new bug and use "History" as the component. Thanks.

Verifying this bug because it was re-opened. We should track the
recently reported problem on a new bug.
