Typing 'r' in the 'subject or sender contains:' field sometimes causes the
'Message' menu to momentarily appear, instead of entering the 'r' character into
the field.

The expected behaviour returned after I started to compile this bug report, so
perhaps switching windows fixes it.

Immediately prior to this behaviour becoming apparent, I had marked a news group
thread using 'Ignore this thread'. I tried that again, but it didn't reproduce.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.just type 'r' in the 'subject or sender contains:' field.

Actual Results:  
The 'Message' menu momentarily appeared

Expected Results:  
Enter the 'r' character into the 'Subject or sender contains:' field.
