Same problem with Firefox Nightly 148.0a1 (2025-12-10) (64-bit)

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Is that a recent regression? Have you seen it before?
Thanks.

Could you provide a log with the following command?
env MOZ_LOG="timestamp,WidgetPopup:5,WidgetScreen:5" MOZ_LOG_FILE="popup" firefox
This command will start firefox turning on some log flags. A log file popup.moz_log will be create. Please attach it here.
Please keep the test as short as possible, just enough to reproduce the issue.
Please also record the desktop during the test if possible.

(In reply to corradoventu@gmail.com from comment #9)
i'm using Ubuntu 26.04 with Firefox snap 146.0
I have been unable to reproduce this on Ubuntu 26.04, 25.10 or 24.04LTS with version 146 (100% scale single display). The snap is based on 24.04LTS so it should be unrelated to using 26.04. It looks similar to Bug 2006820 but that only started in version 148 and should not be affecting version 146.
