Preconditions:

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to: https://anikai.to/watch/rock-is-a-ladys-modesty-y4gv#ep=1
  2. Play video and observe that subtitles are present with "Hard Sub"
  3. Switch to "Soft Sub" (located under the video in the bottom right)

Expected Behavior:
Subtitles are still present

Actual Behavior:
Subtitles are missing

Notes:

  • Reproducible on the latest Firefox Release and Nightly
  • Reproducible regardless of the ETP setting
  • Works as expected using Chrome

I wonder what soft sub is doing differently? I tried opening dev tools and the site freaked out. Probably VTT related.
