Steps to reproduce:
- Clicked new tab button.
Actual results:
Firefox home page opened that displays directly clickable shortcuts section with 4x2 bookmark icons and horizontally scrollable latest added bookmarks section with 7 bookmark icons. Shortcut section has a "Show all" link that extends the section to display 4x4 shortcuts. Bookmarks section has a "Show all" link that extends the section to display all the bookmarks by scrolling vertically.
Expected results:
The "shortcuts" feature is completely unnecessary and create confusion. Users do not need a separate shortcuts list other that bookmarks list. When the user clicks new tab button, firefox android should be able to open the bookmarks list directly by adjusting settings. "Shortcuts" list can be a bookmark folder that users can reach with just one click, or users can sort bookmarks list so that they see the shortcuts at the top of the bookmark list, removing need to click lots of links and buttons to reach them. This modification can both alleviate maintaining the code by removing unnecessary shortcuts feature and make the application easier to use.
