User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021207 Phoenix/0.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021207 Phoenix/0.5 Ctrl+Enter will munge the address, if you typed in a full url. Please note that Strg+Enter is used for "Open in a new tab" in Mozilla-browser. Phoenix creates a url like http://www.http/http://www.netscape.com/ which is evaluted as http://www.http.com/http://www.netscape.com/ This page in turn redirects you to either http://www.web1000search.com/ (a strange search engine) or a page with inappropriate photos. (Try it two or three times.) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enter http://www.nestcape.com in the URL-bar 2. Press Ctrl+Enter Actual Results: http://www is added although it is allready there Expected Results: The type in url should be opend in a new tab or at least do not add an extra http. Having children in mind, this kind of pages should not be just two-keys "away".
Phoenix uses alt+enter to open new windows in tabs, and ctrl+enter to mimic an IE feature (adding http:// before the URI and .com/ after). You'll find more keyboard shortcuts here: http://texturizer.net/phoenix/keyboard.html *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 177618 ***
