scenario:
I am trying migrate to linux. I currently have a full grown mail, newsgroup, mail filters, junk mail profile, and contacts data collection which I do not want to lose. There does not appear to be an easy way to export mail/newsgroups/preferences/junk mail knowledge/contact data, etc, so that we can migrate TO linux FROM windows!

There is an option to import data from all sorts of places, but I see no easy way to convert to a totally new installation. I have had to copy *.slt files and hack other stuff to accomplish this in the past. Not a clean way to live!

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
N/A

Actual Results:
Too much time wasted/spent trying to hack the existing files into the new setup.

Expected Results:
Have menu option (under Tools?) to "Migrate Settings to new installation" or "Create Settings Database for Migrating to new installation".

I know a lot of people who will NOT move to another system if they cannot take their current settings with them.
