User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:146.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/146.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Have "When you open a link, image or media in a new tab, switch to it immediately" switched off
- Open "Firefox View"
- Go to "Tabs from other devices" (or any other section)
- Open any link in new tab
Actual results:
The browser view will switch to the new tab, regardless of "When you open a link, image or media in a new tab, switch to it immediately" option.
Expected results:
The tab should open in the background/not get switched to, given that the user specified that behavior.

Also note that there is a similar issue on Bookmarks (bug Bug 331666 ) (and bug 1603888), but unlike with bookmarks, altering that about:config does not appear to change the "Firefox View" behavior. So this is a separate issue.
