User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/3.1; Linux) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2) Gecko/20021202 If a request takes a long time to process, mozilla will re-request the URL again and again. This happens on GETs and POSTs. This may be a feature, but obviously causes issues if its a credit card payment for example. Seems to do it approximately 1 per minute. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create a web page which sleeps for say 1 minute 2.Request that web page in mozilla 3.Watch the access log Actual Results: There were multiple requests in the log. Expected Results: Only requested it once. To test this I created a little script in PHP which does: exec("sleep 600"); This obviously causes the script to take 10 minutes to run. After the script is run, looking at the apache access log shows the page was requested numerous times. Approximately 1 per minute after the initial 10 minutes.
reporter: looks like you are testing moz 1.2, care to exercise 1.3 or 1.4 alpha instead? this may have already been fixed.
This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts.
