Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:146.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/146.0
Steps to reproduce:
just use the browser normally and check the logs via pihole/nextdns/etc.
This happens both on Linux and Windows.
Actual results:
I could see some URLs in the DNS logs, that are in my Bookmarks. Even though Ive never opened them. (im pretty sure, since there were some very different websites there)
Expected results:
Firefox should never do pings to any bookmarks, except when opening the website ofc

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Networking: DNS' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
Component: Untriaged → Networking: DNS

I assume those DNS lookups are triggered by front-end code.
Component: Networking: DNS → Bookmarks & History
Product: Core → Firefox
