Firefox stops rendering pages after resuming from a locked screen or a long period of time open

Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:146.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/146.0
Steps to reproduce:
I'm using CachyOS with Cosmic DE.
- Leave firefox open for a long time. This often involves locking the screen and resuming, but has happened without it.
- Try to open a new tab
Actual results:
New tabs won't render the page, and the browser becomes unable to render menus (from either the hamburger button or right clicking the page). The page remains with a gray background color and never actually renders.
Opening the developer console seems perfectly normal. Requests start and finish successfully, javascript is loaded and the browser seems to be processing it. No errors in the console.
Existing tabs continue to render properly, including page transitions within SPAs, including video playback is not affected. Attempting to navigate away in an existing tab results in the same behavior as new tabs, unable to render the page.
Completely closing and re-opening the browser fixes the issue completely.
Expected results:
New pages should load properly after a long period of inactivity.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
