The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Graphics: CanvasWebGL' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Thanks for reporting this.
This results in a black map display and above error in the Web Console.
It looks the error message is missing from the comment in the bug report. Could you paste it here?
I am unable to reproduce this locally, so a recorded profile of the bug would be very useful to diagnose it. Could you:
- Type
about:loggingin the url bar and go there, - change the logging preset drop-down menu to "Graphics",
- hit the "start logging" button,
- open google maps and reproduce the bug,
- switch back to the
about:loggingpage and hit the "stop logging" button.
This will open the profiler in a new tab. From there, please click the "upload profile" menu in the top right of the page and click "upload".
This will give you a link to the profile that you can paste here for us to look into and investigate.
