I did a fairly thorough search before reporting, and the closest bug I found was 145877, but I did not consider it a dupe. That bug states that Size and Modified are not listed, or that there is "no info." This bug states that Size is listed, and there is info, it's just not very good info. Unlike 145877, I am not using Linux, and I see Modified and its appropriate data just fine. If this is a dupe of 145877, or another bug I've been unable to locate, please mark it as such and I'll comment on the prime if necessary.

Confirming bug with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031121 Maybe as Chris has explained this is a dup of bug 145877, but the Modified date is shown properly and at the time that 145877 was reported Daniel Brooks said that he couldn't reproduce the problem in windows.

Confirmed Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050328 Not a dup of bug 145877 since Modified date is correctly displayed.

We show page sizes for remote files on Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20090417 Minefield/3.6a1pre. Still nothing for local files.

The filesystem provides file length; HTTP provides a Content-Length: field. Showing this information is important for comparing files and debugging partial or incomplete downloads. I'd want to see size of all related page components (a tree of graphics, CSS files, etc.) We should show page sizes whenever possible. Reopening.

I've narrowed down the summary of Bug 145877 to just "Size is not listed for pages displayed from file://" so making this a duplicate of 145877.
