Firefox scrollbars on Linux/XFCE are extremely narrow and nearly unusable; GTK and about:config tweaks no longer work, creating accessibility issues for older users and high-DPI displays.

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:140.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/140.0
Steps to reproduce:
I used Firefox normally on Debian 13 with XFCE and attempted to adjust scrollbar width using GTK CSS in ~/.config/gtk-3.0/gtk.css, as well as various about:config preferences that previously worked.
Actual results:
The scrollbars remain extremely narrow and are practically unusable. The GTK CSS settings are ignored and no about:config changes (e.g., widget.non-native-theme.scrollbar.style) have any effect. Scrollbars in userChrome.css only affect panels and tabs, not the main UI scrollbars or webpage scrollbars.
Expected results:
The scrollbars should respect GTK settings or provide an option in about:config to increase their width, making them usable and accessible, especially for users with reduced vision or high-DPI displays.
