Steps to reproduce

1. Enter search terms that look like parts of URL into address bar: "http://", "test://"
2. Submit search

Expected behavior

Search term is displayed in address bar

Actual behavior

Not full search query is displayed:

• http:// gets eliminated entirely
• test:// shows test:
  Even though the search term is the entire string
