  • Reproduces regardless of the status of ETP
  • Reproduces in firefox-nightly, and firefox-release
  • Does not reproduce in chrome

This reproduces randomly on Firefox (sometimes you have to pass the verification process to see the error), never on Chrome. I've managed to capture a network profile: https://share.firefox.dev/3O5GKmr

Seems to be a browser block. Chrome Mask doesn't help, in fact, it makes it worse.

Looks like these site does some kind of low level bot detection (tls or http2 based)

I'm seeing the same "no access to service" message on Chrome, so maybe this isn't a webcompat issue?

This seems one of those Akamai-like bugs. It might affect Firefox more than Chrome, but there's not much we can diagnose here. Let's take this out of the diagnosis pile and try to find a contact.
