Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to: https://www.google.com/maps/
  2. Zoom in and out quickly with the mouse wheel and observe

Expected Behavior:
Zoom is smooth

Actual Behavior:
Zoom seems janky causing a grid to appear temporarily

Notes:

  • Reproduces regardless of the status of ETP
  • Reproduces in firefox-nightly, and firefox-release
  • Does not reproduce in chrome
