Steps to reproduce

  1. Log into Slack in Firefox.
  2. Mouse over the scrollbar in Slack's channel list.
  3. Then increase your page zoom using Ctrl or Cmd and +.

Expected result

The scrollbar should either be a solid color or not shown if the mouse pointer is not hover over the scrollable element (like in Chrome and Safari).

Actual result

There are two overlapping scrollbars: one is a dark gray rectangle, the other is light gray with rounded ends. See the attached screenshot. Zooming the page causes the two scrollbars to move apart.

I can reproduce in Firefox on both Windows and macOS.

This bug is not a regression. I can reproduce in the oldest Firefox version that Slack still allows, Firefox 131 (2024-10-01).
