Steps to reproduce:
When an input device has browser-specific keys, such as BROWSER_HOME, it isn't possible to get Firefox to ignore them.
Actual results:
Firefox has a configuration option to ignore hardware media keys (through media.hardwaremediakeys.enabled) but no way to disable hardware browser keys.
I also attempted to build a simple extension calling event.preventDefault() on keypresses where event.key == "BrowserHome", but this does not work.
Expected results:
I'd love a configuration option, for example browser.hardwarebrowserkeys.enabled, that lets me completely disable inputs from browser-specific hardware keys. To be specific, I mean the keys listed in the Browser control keys) section on MDN.
I'm willing to give implementation a shot myself, if this feature is something the Firefox team is interested in.
