User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:147.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/147.0
Steps to reproduce:
Opened https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/keyboard-shortcuts-perform-firefox-tasks-quickly and tried to use Reader mode.
Actual results:
Nothing. There is no Reader mode icon in the page action area and F9 doesn't invoke Reader mode.
Expected results:
There should be a Reader mod icon in the page action area and F9 should invoke Reader mode.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Toolkit::Reader Mode' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

I can't reproduce (tested on 149 beta on Windows but nothing relating to reader mode has changed in a while). I see a reader mode icon and it works. Can you doublecheck a clean profile? If that works, and you're still reproducing this in your main Firefox profile, does it reproduce in troubleshoot mode?
Also, to confirm, are you definitely seeing this on Firefox on Windows as suggested by the user agent string in comment 0, not (e.g. ) on Android or iOS or similar?
No idea why, but reader.parse-on-load.enabled was set to false.
