Shift-Click broken in message pane

Details
Shift-Clicking on messages in the message pane should select multiple messages.
To reproduce:
1. Open a mail folder
2. Select a message
3. Click on another message while holding Shift
Actual outcome: original message stays selected
Expected outcome: All messages between the one originally selected and the one
shift-clicked on should be selected.
Same thing happens in card pane in address book: shift-clicking does not select
multiple lines.

I believe this is the same as http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12288.
Shift+click is not supported in the tree control yet.
