Tested platforms

• Affected platforms: Windows 10/11
• Unaffected platforms: Ubuntu 24.04, MacOS 15.7.3

Steps to reproduce

1. Open Firefox Enterprise.
2. Log-in using valid credentials.
3. Log-out and start Firefox Enterprise again. (do not log-in this time)
4. Right-click the task-bar icon, and select "Open new tab".

Expected result

• Firefox Enterprise cannot be opened without being authenticated.

Actual result

• A new Firefox Enterprise window opens @blank page. (not Firefox Home as it is set by default)

Additional notes

• Selecting "Open new window" or "New private window" does not do anything but it is still clickable.
• Clicking "Open new tab" from the context menu again opens new tab in the window @Firefox home.
