Found in

  • Firefox Enterprise v. 149.0a1 (2026-02-21)

Affected environment

  • Staging

Tested platforms

  • Affected platforms: All

Preconditions

  • Be logged into Firefox Enterprise on Linux or MacOS.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Access the console and select the "Users" tab
  2. Take a look at the "Operating system and version sessions" section.

Expected result

  • Ubuntu and MacOS are correctly reflected in the "Operating system and version sessions" page.

Actual result

  • Ubuntu is referenced by using the kernel version (6.17.0-14-generic), and MacOS (versions older than 26) is referenced as Darwin

Additional notes

  • The issue reproduces for MacOS 26 as well, on the "Event Details" module.
  • The Production console correctly reflects older versions of MacOS (for example: 15 (Sequoia))
