However, if there is an attachment, it does not get displayed. By contrast, using the same URL in Netscape 4.x will cause a Messenger window to be opened, and it displays the attachment. antonio xu recent changes for bug #143565 should make this possible now.

we will show attachments we can display (rfc/822, images, etc) but not ones we can't. to do that, we'll have to open up the message window, and use the attachment bucket, like we do in bug #143565 futuring, for now.

hmm, another alternative is to fix the html we generate in mime. this then becomes like the bug about when printing, show attachments that we can't render (at least, that they exist) the attachments would be linkified.

(In reply to comment #8) > As far as I can figure out, this WFM. It displays as if we were printing... Works in what version of Seamonkey? I still get an empty page with: Gecko/20090221 SeaMonkey/2.0b1pre

Thunderbird doesn't have a browser, and using Open in Browser in Thunderbird opens a newsgroup item in google groups. Therefore if this is a bug, its a SeaMonkey only bug.
