Steps to reproduce:

I close Firefox every night. After opening the next day, all my open tabs were gone! I was able to reopen tabs that were placed in a group tab but all others were completely gone. This has happened to me several times now (at least 3 times, possibly more) - not sure if Firefox was updated prior to the incidents

Actual results:

Only one tab appeared after opening Firefox

Expected results:

All the open tabs should have reopened as far as I know and this what normally occurs

Can you verify if you have Session Restore enabled (its the "Open previous windows and tabs" check box in Settings)?
Firefox might have written log files which could throw some light on what is going on there. If they exist they should be in a a sessionstore-logs directory in your profile directory (the location is linked in the about:support page). Look for .log files around the date/time you shut down and then when you started up firefox and noticed your tabs didn't restore.

We do have docs on restoring a session backup https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-restore-browsing-session-backup which might help if this ever happens again.

Hello,

Yes, confirming that Session Restore was enabled in each case (use this feature on all my devices). Sorry but when I check the primary profile I use, not seeing any *.Log files. Does this need to be enabled in settings somewhere? Searching the entire Firefox directory, I only see 2 log files. Would send these to you but neither is dated about 21 days ago. Also, don't see anyway to attach these to send to you. Thank you for the restore info. Another bit of info that might help, I don't sync tabs between devices. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with
