Steps to reproduce:

On Ubuntu 25.10 (wayland) I have Gnome Files opened to fullscreen (key point). I drag image from it, use Alt+Tab to switch to firefox and drop image to firefox (in a github page). If I will do the same steps but Gnome Files will be opened not in fullscreen then such bug doesn't happen.

Based on the attached video clip, it looks like you've submitted a crash report. Can you please get the link of the crash report and share with us, following the steps below?

1. Go to about:crashes in Firefox , i.e. type about:crashes in the url bar and enter
2. Look for a crash entry with a timestamp matching when the crash occurred
3. Share the crash report ID (looks like bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx) or the associated view link
4. If it turns out that the crash is not yet submitted, click Submit and go back to 3.)

1. I can't find my bug report from 2026-03-10 in about:crashes list (day and hour should match)
2. In new FireFox 149.0 (64-bit) behavior is still wrong but better: instead of crash I just can't add attachment (when Gnome Files opened to fullscreen). When Gnome Files opened to not fullscreen then I can add attachment.

I'm trying to parse the STR here.

Is gnome files supposed to be fullscreen, or is firefox? Firefox does not appear to be FS in the video, so I'm guessing it's gnome-files that is fullscreen?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're also trying to dragndrop a PNG image into a github comment?

1. I met this bug on FireFox 149.0 (64-bit) https://crash-stats.mozilla.org/report/index/091f5850-b981-4937-a39d-509bf0260326
2. Firefox and Gnome Files are working in fullscreen both (I use Alt+Tab to switch between windows). Then bug happen.
3. When Firefox fullscreen and Gnome Files not then dragndrop works like a charm.
4. While test I trying to dragndrop a PNG image into a github comment.

Moving this to Widget: GTK because it's most likely not a DOM issue. Crash seems to suggest it being a wayland-related issue. Maybe :stransky can provide some input here?

I use Ubuntu 26 (snap), so for now I have 152.0.1 (64-bit). I can't reproduce problem, works like a charm. I think you can close the report.
